How To Create A Hotmail Account!

Today your going to learn to create your own personal email, on the popular website Hotmail. Having your own email is really going to allow you to send messages across the world instantly to any country and place.

Start off by heading over to http://get.live.com/mail/options

Next you will be faced by 2 options. Either Windows Live Hotmail or a Either Windows Live Hotmail Plus account. For now you should want the free one. Click on the "Sign Up" Button.

First you will have to choose a windows live id. This is bascially what your email adresses will be. So for example if my windows live id is superman76 then my email will be superman76@hotmail.com .

Next you will have to select your password. You must use at least 6 letters or numbers and it's case sensitive. ( That means if you have caps lock on your password will be in capitals )

Next you will be asked if you want to put in an exsisiting email adresses in-case of account recovery. Also in the recovery segment you will be asked for a Security Question. Make sure you create something you can remeber easily but hard to guess.

After that you need to enter your First Name, Last Name, Gender, Birth Year, Country, State and Postal Code. After you have enterd all that all is left is the security confirmation. It should be a string of 8 words. That stops bot programs from automatically creating thousands of accounts at once to slow down the site or crash it.

After this you will get a choice of accepting email offers, these are generally annoying and spam full. So if i was you i'd not use any. And Voila!

Congratulations, if everything went according to plan, you have just created your own hotmail account. You should procede to the Compose button and type in your friends email and send them a message!
